Shipping and Returns Policy

Shipping

We currently only ship to the UK (sorry about that!). All packages are sent via Royal Mail, and tracking is available if you would like some extra insurance on your items. Please check the postage method carefully when checking out to ensure you have selected the correct option.

We aim to post items out within 2-4 working days (not including weekends or bank holidays), but if this ever changes, we will let you know via our social media posts.

If you need an order by a certain date, please consider purchasing 1st class shipping to ensure speedy arrival. Please also put a note when you reach the checkout to let us know that you need the item by a certain date - if we don't know, we can't rush the order out for you.

 

Cancellation period and returns of cancelled items

Once you (or a third party you specify to us) receive your items, you are entitled to a 14-day cancellation period. During these 14 days, you can contact us at any time to cancel your order. A reason for cancelling is not required. If you contact us after 14 days of having received your item(s) you will no longer be entitled to a refund for the item(s).

If you do decide to cancel, we will refund the cost of the item(s) and the postage costs paid for them (except for supplementary costs arising from the selection of a more expensive delivery cost than the standard delivery offered). We will refund these costs to you using the same method in which you originally paid for them.

To receive a refund for any cancelled items, these items must be returned to us in good, sellable condition. Refunds will only be given after we have received the specified goods. You will have 14 days to return any items to us after we send acknowledgement (via email) of your cancellation. You will be responsible for any postage costs to resend these items back to us.

Returns of damaged goods

If an item you receive is damaged upon arrival, you are entitled to a full refund for this item within 30 days of you (or a third party you specify to us) receiving your order.

However, you are not entitled to a refund if the damage was stated (or shown in photographs) in the item’s listing. By purchasing a product with damage already listed or shown on the item’s listing page, you are agreeing to receiving a product with said damage, and are therefore not entitled to a refund on this/these item(s).

Similarly, if the item was damaged by you or someone else whilst the item was in your possession, you are also not entitled to a refund.

If an item does arrive damaged, please get in contact with us within 30 days of arrival with photos of the damage incurred during transit. We will be able to provide you with a full refund for the cost of the item(s) upon receiving your report. Any reports received after 30 days of your order arriving may not be accepted.

Lost items

If your order has not arrived 14 days after the dispatch date, please contact us via email (info@anime2ndhand.co.uk) to let us know. It may be that a public bank holiday has delayed shipping, or something worse has happened and your package is lost. We will review the situation and advise on whether to wait a little longer to see if the order turns up, or we will offer a refund for the lost items. As most of our items are single-stock items, we are not always able to offer a replacement for items you have ordered, so we will offer a refund instead to cover the lost items.

 

Additional information about products

If you would like any additional information or photos of any of our items, please feel free to contact us before buying and we will be happy to provide these for you on request. We want to ensure everyone is happy with their orders to avoid any additional costs for us or for you (i.e. postage costs for returned items).
